يجب تجميع كامل المعدات اللازمة قبل بدء الفحص (الشكل "22-4"). ستختلف المعدات المطلوبة حسب مناطق الجسم المراد فحصها. وتشمل بعض المعدات والأدوات المستخدمة في الفحوصات المختلفة ما يلي:

• مقياس ضغط الدم Sphygmomanometer: أداة تستخدم لقياس ضغط الدم.
• السماعة الطبية Stethoscope: أداة تستخدم للاستماع إلى أصوات أعضاء الجسم الداخلية.
