التصميم التركيبي:

ويقوم على مبدأ التركيب بين عدد القطع المتعددة وعدد من الأشكال الدافعة إلى التفاعل، ويمكن توليد أفكار إبداعية لا نهائية في تصميم التغليف بحيث يكون المستخدم جزءًا من عمل التصميم ويحظى بتجربة تفاعلية يمكن أن يكون له دور فيها؛ في المثال: يتم تركيب الأشكال بترتيبات متعددة، ويمكن مشاركة الآخرين في تنظيم بنائها.

تفريغ مساحات الأشكال:

تستخدم هذه الطريقة لتحقيق تصميم إبداعي؛ حيث تقدم حلولاً لا متناهية في تحفيز التفكير الإبداعي من خلال تفريغ مساحات هندسية أو غير هندسية للوصول إلى الهدف من التصميم.
