الأزمة لحظة حرجة وحاسمة، تتعلق بمصير أي كيان يصاب بها، وتمثل صعوبة حادة أمام متخذ القرار.

الأزمة هي حدث يتصف بالآتي:

• وقوع الحدث فجأة دون توقع. • إحداث خسائر مالية، أو مادية أو بشرية أو نفسية. • التسبب في خلق مشكلات جديدة. • قلة المعلومات (الغموض). • فقدان السيطرة. • التصاعد والتسارع في الأحداث.

للأزمة جوانب سلبية وأخرى إيجابية. بالتعاون مع مجموعتك، دون ثلاثة جوانب إيجابية وثلاثة جوانب سلبية.

أنواع الأزمات من حيث التأثير على المجتمع:

أزمات محدودة التأثير: وهي أزمة وليدة ظروفها، تحدث عادة دون أن تترك بصمات أو معالم واضحة على المجتمع الذي حدثت فيه.

تذكر أن جميع الأنظمة لا تنجو من تأثير الأزمات.

أزمات جوهرية التأثير: وهذا النوع يختلف اختلافًا كاملًا عن النوع الأول من حيث اتصاله ببناء المجتمع وأداء هذا البناء بالشكل الذي يضع قيدًا محددًا على حركته.
